Section 01 — Strictly Enforced

🔒 No-Refund Policy After License Key Delivery

Due to the technical nature of the LATEEN Software license as a 100% offline digital product permanently bound to the customer’s Device Hardware ID:

Strictly Non-Refundable After Key Delivery: Once the permanent Activation Key has been generated and sent to the customer (via Email, WhatsApp, or any other channel), the sale is final and 100% non-refundable under any circumstances.
Technical Reason: The encrypted activation key is mathematically generated for your specific Hardware ID and works offline forever, making it technically impossible to revoke or deactivate once delivered.
Free Trial Available Before Purchase: We provide a free 14-day full-featured trial so you can test the software on your PC and verify that it meets all your workshop requirements prior to paying.
Full Technical Support Guarantee: If you encounter any issue installing or activating your key, our support team is committed to assisting you free of charge until the software runs smoothly on your PC.
Section 02 — Cancellation Before Key Issuance

⏳ Cancellation Policy After Payment & Before Key Delivery

If a customer completes an online payment and wishes to cancel the order BEFORE the activation key has been generated and sent, the following rules apply:

Key Must Not Be Issued Yet: A cancellation request is only eligible if the licensing department has NOT yet generated and dispatched the activation key to the customer.
Cancellation Timeframe: The customer must notify our official WhatsApp or Email support immediately within a maximum of 24 hours of payment (and prior to key delivery).
Payment Gateway Fees Deduction: Upon approval of a pre-key refund, non-refundable payment gateway processing fees (PayPal / card fees, if any) are deducted, and the net amount is refunded to the original payment method.
Refund Processing Time: Refunds processed through PayPal or the card-issuing bank typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear on the customer’s statement.
Section 03 — Local Data Storage & Liability Disclaimer

💻 Local PC Data Storage & Data Loss Liability Disclaimer

LATEEN Software is engineered as a 100% offline local desktop system to guarantee maximum speed and complete privacy for your workshop’s financial and operational records:

All Data Is Stored Exclusively on the Customer’s PC: All data entered into the program (including invoices, work orders, inventory, customer/supplier balances, worker accounts, vouchers, and reports) is stored locally on the customer’s computer hard drive only. No copies are uploaded to or stored on LATEEN servers.
Complete Disclaimer of Liability for Data Loss: LATEEN Software management and developers assume zero legal, financial, or technical liability for any loss, corruption, or deletion of customer data resulting from hardware/disk failure, OS formatting/reinstallation without external backup, viruses/ransomware, power outages, theft, or accidental user deletion.
Customer’s Responsibility for External Backups: The software includes a built-in one-click backup and restore tool. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to regularly export backups and store them on a safe external drive (USB flash drive, external hard disk, or personal cloud) separate from the main PC.
100% Business Privacy: Thanks to this local architecture, no third party can ever access your sales, profits, or customer records — your business data remains 100% under your control.
Section 04 — Device Licensing

🔑 Device Binding & Updates Terms

Single-PC License Binding: Each activation key is bound to the specific Device Hardware ID submitted at purchase and works on that PC for life. Additional PCs in your workshop can be licensed at a discounted rate.
Reinstalling Windows on the Same PC: You can keep your activation key and reuse it when reinstalling the software on the same computer, provided you save an external backup of your database before formatting.
